10 Target Finds to Transition into Spring!
I love Target! I literally live within a mile of one and it is very difficult to not just waltz right in there and buy the entire store every day on my way home from work. The addiction is real. I mean we all know how it goes in there, you walk in to buy something trivial like toothpaste or a gift for someone and one hour later you’re getting rung up with a full cart of random items. Oh and you somehow are now holding a Starbucks drink. Funny how that happens.
Target really is a great place to find affordable trendy items- hence why we all love it! We’re kind of about to be in transition mode over here (Winter to Spring) so I wanted to pick out some things that transition well or just work in every season! (Ok maybe I am jumping the gun about this whole transition thing given the fact that it is snowing outside as I type this) But I think given the fact that Christmas was a solid 2 months ago now, we are ready for some warm weather and spring vibes!
I am especially loving the new(ish) clothing line they have there Wild Fable. It’s super affordable and all their stuff is so cute and on-trend! Of course their other lines also have great options as well! And the shoes! Don’t get me started! Ok wait no, yes do get me started.
So without further ado, let’s #TarGetAfterItttttttt (I just made this up! And I’m sorry)
1. A super versatile overall dress
Love a good overall dress / skirtall / jumper! You could easily pair this with a long sleeve body suit and boots for the winter and then transition it nicely into spring with a white tee or tank and some sneakers! The ways to style these pieces are endless. I have a blush pink one I’ve worn with sweaters underneath to just a bralette under it! Awesome transition piece in a fun but neutral color! (The color is called “Stormy Gray”) Oh and it’s just $28 !
2. Camo leggings
Love these leggings! Leggings are pretty much an every season thing for me, especially cute ones! Oh and especially ones that are only $14!! Pair with a fleece or a tank depending on the weather and these bad boys could last you all of 2019!
3. A fun floral top
The black makes it winter appropriate, but the floral pattern can pull this baby right into spring! Plus this square neckline is super fun and on trend right now! Love the little peplum detail at the bottom too! Only $18 !
4. This classy fanny-pack
The ultimate transition piece that just transitioned decades. Yes this a fanny pack and yes they are back ! Except people are calling them “belt bags” now (or maybe they always did? But I was like 4 when these were cool so cut me some slack)… But this is nothing like your mother’s 80s/90s fanny pack. 2019 fanny packs are cute and classy. And this one is super easy to wear over your winter coat or loop around your denim shorts belt loop! (Yes it’s adjustable!) Only $24.99!
5. Cat eye-sunglasses
I’ve been wanting to buy a pair of sunglasses shaped like this and stray away from my typical aviators I always buy but can never find any that I really like. These just might be them! And I think we all know that sunglasses can be worn any season. And especially in between seasons when all of a sudden your commute home is getting lighter and the sun is glaring in your eyes for half the ride home. Also outdoor seating at brunch becomes more and more frequent and we have got to be prepared ladies! Oh and also these are only $14.99 sooo who am I kidding I clicked “Add to Cart” before I even typed this.
6. A new party- cardi
Had to throw a cardigan in the mix. These neutral colors work well for any season really! I love a nice long-line cardigan because they cover my butt in leggings (the best) and they look cute when paired with the denim skirt and tank top I thought it was totally warm enough out to wear and then stepped outside and realized it totally is not. Cardigans always save the day. Great transition piece. Great price ($36.99)!
7. Leopard print loafers
These are just adorable and different! Love the little heel, but love that the toes are covered because we all know that going from winter to spring means we definitely were not prepared to show off our toes just yet because we haven’t gotten a pedicure in forever! Is that just me? Pedicure or not these are so cute to put on with a good pair of jeans! $27.99!
8. Fringe Drop Earrings
If you’re not quite ready to stop dressing in all black, but still want to embrace spring- these are the perfect pop of color! I love a good statement earring and these will definitely not go unnoticed. They also come in a lot of colors (including black for those of us who can’t commit to the bright colors) and they’r only $12.99!
9. Classic Canvas Sneakers
Simple. Classic. Super Affordable! These are only $10 and they come in white, lavender, gray, red, and black! I mean you really could get them in every color at that price! So cute and versatile and ready for Spring!
10. This Spring-y light jacket
This lightweight jacket is so cute to throw on over your gym clothes! (Because bathing suit season is coming) And has a hood for if it’s raining (Because April is coming). It’s $39.99 so it is the most expensive thing on this list but it is just so darn cute and it is the perfect April 25th jacket. (Not too hot, not too cold!)
